Community Governance Mentoring Programmes
The Nationwide Governance Programmes is a Community Governance Aotearoa initiative (communitygovernance.org.nz), delivered by Mentoring Foundation working with community partners.
This is a six-month mentoring programme is specifically aimed at supporting leaders in governance roles of community organisations through focused mentoring relationships, and is open to those in not-for-profit community governance roles.
In 2023, programmes are on offer across Aotearoa, with programmes live for registrations of interest now. Additionally, a national online community governance mentoring programme is also on offer. For details on each programme take a look at the information in the section below.

Nationwide Governance Programme 2023
Programme Details
If you're in a governance role with a community organisation, this programme will connect you to a mentor with relevant experience, who can support you and help you become more effective, more confident, more capable and more connected.
Dunedin Programme
Partnering with Volunteer South, and supporting community governance leaders in Dunedin through focused mentoring relationships.
The six-month programme runs from late August 2023 through to April 2024
