The Mentoring Foundation of New Zealand joins up with community partners across Aotearoa New Zealand to bring mentoring support to community sector leaders - organisational, programme, project and governance leaders - via our proven mentoring programme customised to the needs of each community.
Community Leadership Programmes - 2024
In 2024 the following programmes are on offer to community leaders
Waikato Community Leaders Mentoring Programme
Community Waikato and Mentoring Foundation are delighted to again offer the mentoring programme to community leaders in the Waikato in 2024.
This six-month programme provides support to community leaders, volunteer and paid, through focused mentoring relationships.

Central Lakes Community Mentoring Programme -
Volunteer South and new community focused organisation, Huddl, are partnering with Mentoring Foundation to provide community leaders in the Central Lakes area a 2024 mentoring programme.
This a six-month mentoring programme, will start later in 2024.

Southland / Invercargill Community Leaders Mentoring Programme
Greenlight Innovations and Mentoring Foundation are teaming up to offer a second mentoring programme, after a very successful 2023 programme.
The programme runs from June to December 2024.

Kāpiti Community Leaders Mentoring Programme
Volunteer Kāpiti and Mentoring Foundation are super excited to offer community leaders in the Kāpiti area a 2024 mentoring programme.
These programmes will be running from early October through to May 2024.

Taranaki Community Leaders Mentoring Programme
Once again, we've teamed up with long-time community partner, The Wheelhouse, to offer the Taranaki Community Leaders Mentoring Programme for community leaders in Taranaki.
This is a six-month mentoring programme, aimed at supporting community leaders through focused mentoring relationships.
The programme is running between April and October 2024.

Western Bay of Plenty Community Leaders Mentoring Programme
SociaLink have partnered with Mentoring Foundation of New Zealand for a number of years to provide a mentoring programme to community leaders in Western Bay of Plenty.

Tuakana-Teina Leadership Mentoring Programme
Tūoa Aotearoa Volunteering New Zealand and Mentoring Foundation have partnered together again to offer a Tuakana-Teina leadership mentoring programme to empower leaders in the not-for-profit sector.
The programme is running between March and July 2024.

Wilberforce Foundation and Mentoring Foundation have joined forces to provide two mentoring programmes for CEs and governance leaders of community organisations supported by Wilberforce Foundation.
These programmes will be running from June to November 2024.

Tūoa Aotearoa Volunteering New Zealand and Mentoring Foundation are partnering to provide a second mentoring programme for Volunteer Managers or Coordinators, after a very successful 2023 programme.
The programme runs from May to November 2024.

IWCNZ Women in Leadership Mentoring Programme - South Island
Islamic Women's Council New Zealand are partnering with Mentoring Foundation to offer Muslim women in the South Island the opportunity to join a mentoring programme supporting the development of leadership and governance skill and confidence.
The programme is the fourth in a series on offer around Aotearoa New Zealand, following programmes in the Waikato, Auckland and Wellington.
This is a six-month mentoring programme, beginning May 2024.
