A Taranaki Regional Councillor, since 2017, Charlotte is a member of the WITT council and a director of Port Taranaki. She has worked in a variety of policy regulatory and strategy roles across Powerco Ltd, the Ministry for Social Development in Wellington, and the Department for Work and Pensions in London. She currently runs her own consulting business, focusing on improving board reporting and processes and has also worked alongside local government supporting regional growth and economic development projects. Her other community governance roles include being a trustee on the Taranaki Tracks & Trails Trust, helping set up Taranaki Young Professionals and Vice President of her Student Union. She has a Masters in Finance, a BA(Hons) in Economics and Politics. She is also a chartered member of the Institute of Directors and member of the New Zealand Association of Economists.
